Our very own Lucas Luecke's quest for glory has ended! Luecke failed to make it to the medal stand after a sub-par performance in the much anticipated Hoolah Hoop finals at the 2008 Beijing Games. Luecke, a virtual unknown going into the games, surprised many in the preliminary rounds with stellar performances, despite the hostile Chinese crowd. Rival Hoopers were left stunned all week by Luecke's formidable hip gyrations. Luecke was unavailable for comment afterwards, but a close source had this to say, "After we ran out of Busch Light, it was all downhill." We leave you with this highlight of the competition.
